After selling her successful startup Beacon Pharma to the tune of US$6.4 million, CEO Nancy Torress broke ground on her latest startup Novo-DX in 2022. It was pharmaceutical company aiming to enter the consumer self-testing market in the USA. This was the third video we created for her investors. Since it was a next generation home testing product, we were tasked to do something fun, high-tecj and revolutionary.

We were given full creative freedom to come up with a suggestion. And it was our concept to come up with a 3D science fiction story about three astronauts on earth’s first colonization mission to Mars (named Novo-Dx for this story). The story unfolds as the Russian astronaut “Yuri” is amazed and confused at the lack of a medical facility in Novo-Dx. The other two astronauts (fittingly named after Elon Musk and Richard Branson) reassure “Yuri” that with a new cutting-edge technology would enable them to function in Novo-Dx without a medical facility. As the conversation unfolds the mission arrives from hyper speed to the orbit of Novo-DX. The 3D landscape, the spaceship, and the astronaut’s space suits were all done by us and the voices by talented voice artists from SinhalaVoiceover.LK  This video enabled us to take our talents to another level, which we previously thought not possible. As we expanded our own creative boundaries, we also made it possible to impress startup investors with creative and striking 3D video story telling to any entrepreneur. We created this video in January 2023, for a total cost of US$1,200.
